The funniest thing about that clip is without doubt his hair style.

He looks, sounds and acts like a Prescott clone. Scary.

"Tom's a proper blogger"

No, I'M the biggest blogger, I'm the biggest blogger! How dare david cameron jump on the bandwagon!

First rule of spoof comedy: leave it to people who are actually funny, like Chris Morris. Or Guido Fawkes. Not Sion Simon. Obviously. Ahem.

What a horribly rude little man he is.

Astonishing.

Apparently his job as a Labour MP is to support the Labour Government and work for its re-election. I thought it was to work for the interests of his constituents. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned.

A quote from the loveable Mr Simon - taken from his review of Jeremy Paxman's book..

"Paxman's medium is television. This does not mean that he can write. And by the standards against which I'm sure he would want to be judged, he can't. Not that his prose is unreadable; it's just not very good. Quoting bad writing is cruel. But, hey, Paxo's a journalist who can't write; I'm a politician who can."

I'm very much looking forward to Mr Paxman's review of Mr Simon's attempt at television. Actually, it's pretty much the same self-important, pomopous shite that he writes in the review.

Do you think he was bullied at school ?

This wanky knob-end is an MP?

Welcome to 21st century UK politics.

I really must do more penance for being an (ex) Labour voter.

PS: Doesn't say much for the denizens of Erdington either, that they voted for this sub-cretin, does it?

Good God - this thing is an MP? I REALLY REALLY feel sorry for his constituents. How on earth did he persuade them to vote for him. He is the biggest arsehole I have EVER seen.

He's like the pseud in the lower 6th who's learned a new word - "egregious" - but can't be bothered to look it up to find what it means before using it.

His New Labour "insider" columns in the Daily Telegraph in the late 90s exuded the same combination of arrogance and ignorance.
